MT Alpha
MT Alpha is an innovative rehabilitation device jointly R&D by MTcure and The Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The core technology is the Biomedical Combination of Treatment Technology which can provides three types of combined therapeutic signals, such as photobiomodulation, deep tissue stimulation, and FDA-reg thermotherapy. The R&D of “Medical dose+Formula” treatment protocol which the stimulation signals and energy intensity are designed according to rehabilitation standards with FDA’s approval.

This key R&D project is led by an internationally prestigious orthopaedic translation scholar called professor Qin Ling, Department of Orthopaedics, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). This device is the first to do a treatment solution on the posterior anatomy of the popliteal fossa where it can provide combined therapeutic signals. This innovative design can effectively stimulate the deeper vascular and nervous systems of knee joint. Therefore, this household medical device can achieve the result compared to the clinical treatment. There are three types of biomedical signals, such as photobiomodulation, deep tissue compression and FDA-reg thermotherapy.
This CUHK R&D project has achieved the gold medal in the 46th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, Switzerland. And received many media coverage in Hong Kong and overseas.

This medical ointment is R&D by the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It can be effectively absorbed into the skin and penetrate to damaged tissues. With the ultra concentration of mineral magnesium ions, it can promote soft tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and relieve the pain.

MT Check APP
It is a joint R&D project by MTcure and the medical team of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. This App provides assistance in the assessment of musculoskeletal and joint’s conditions. There are two medical quantitative indicators, such as Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC). With these two indicators, users can easily assess their pain, joint stiffness, and impact on daily life by themselves.
Moreover, the users’ health data are recorded in our cloud storage system and will be further analyzed by MTcure medical team. Therefore, it can assist the doctor in the diagnostic process and can track patients’ recovery progress systematically.

This flagship and professional medical device is jointly R&D of Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong which R&D team is composed of different background of experts. We developed this medical device from many years of research and clinical experience in the university.
It can provide combined biomedical signals with intelligent assistance in diagnostic functions and treatment protocol (Medical dose and biomedical signals) can be adjusted automatically according to the patients’ conditions. Moreover, our smart system can record the treatment and recovery progress.
